One thing that's very important to begin is that you have a laptop or a computer in the same room as the router, and we actually have to be connected to the router with an Ethernet cable into one of the yellow Ethernet ports on the back of the device. This is going to be the best way to connect to the router and ensure you have a good connection and a stable connection while you change settings. Then the other piece of information on the router that you can use is the username and password printed on the sticker that was placed there by the Installer. That is the secure way to access the devices settings. Once you're at your computer with an Ethernet cable connected to the router, you should see a symbol very similar to this. You're going to want to open a browser such as Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. In the browser we have an address bar at the top, and we also have a search bar. It's very important that what we're going to type in goes in the address bar and not the search bar. In the address bar you should type in the IP address located on the sticker of your ONT which in this case is 192.168.1.1. When you type in this address it takes you to the actual router not the Internet.
